In the new system, modern triple-pane glass up to 52 mm thick (STV® 54 mm) can be used without any issues, and thanks to the modern design, narrow sash and innovative glazing profiles, a greater glass share in the fixed part is achieved.
Our technology enables the production of large door elements through which natural light fills the space regardless of whether the door is open or closed, while an almost invisible floor joint creates an unobtrusive boundary between the interior and exterior; for lift-and-slide elements, GEALAN offers a special solution that reduces the width of the fixed part by more than 50% compared to the standard sash of lift-and-slide systems, and the new lift-and-slide door S 9000 already achieves excellent thermal insulation of Uf 1.3 W/(m²K) in the basic variant.
